Introduction
3Wire RS2WLAN is an industrial-grade WiFi/LAN IoT gateway designed to connect serial and Ethernet-based devices-such as PLCs, meters, and sensors-to cloud-based IoT platforms.It enables SCADA and BMS software to remotely access these devices over WiFi or LAN, ensuring seamless integration and real-time monitoring. The RS2WLAN gateway can actively poll data from connected devices and transmit it via MQTT or HTTP POST over the network.
Device configuration, data selection, and polling intervals can be easily managed through the serial interface. The RS2WLAN also supports operation as a Modbus TCP Master, Modbus TCP Slave (Paired Mode), or in Bridge Mode, with data connectivity available through direct IP or Virtual COM, making it fully compatible with most SCADA and BMS system.
